Introducing the devil as "Juan sin Ropa" ("Unclothed John") known as well as the voice of progress, the one who will bring us the future and will tear down tradition.
In the song, the devil defies Santos Vega to a minstrel's duel till death.

Here it comes the rider's on the run
towards the minstrel on his mighty horse
'Steps in front the man and his guitar
to defy him in a duel til the end

The minstrel raise,
looks the devil in the eyes
stretching his arm towards his guitar
he face the evil man
and start to play
and with a babattlecry the war begins

with rage a rumble strikes the land
their songs collide on and on
the strings draw sparkles in the sky
as their words clash with power upon the air

The devil raise,
looks the minstrel in the eyes
and start to fade our heroe's light
he drags him to the dark
on his own game
the voice of progress will prevail

In the end the progress won the game
and broke the minstrel apart
Fighting back the hero of the light
went down and fell on the devil's hand!
