This is the introduction theme to "The Minstrel's Song". It is actually an andean folk rhythm called "baguala", an ancient way of chanting from the natives of south america.
The lyrics are in spanish and narrate the leyend of Santos Vega, the forgotten minstrel from the pampas.

Cuenta una vieja leyenda
dentro 'e los montes pampeanos,
de un payador que ha existido,
Sombra de olvido murmura en su canto

Translation:
As an old legend tells
within the plains of the pampas,
a minstrel that ever lived,
shadow of oblivion murmurs in his singing.
